God I hate the E.U. concept & Euro currency etc (Always did, always have) .. What a never ending mess! Greece, Portugal, and Spain should out of the Euro and go back to their own currency, I hope Germany too (someday). Ugh!!

The Euro-zone in its current form is in its final chapter. Anyone who argues otherwise is not paying attention.
Consider the Greek situation. Greece’s debt problems first made mainstream media headline news at the beginning of 2009. The IMF/ EU/ ECB/ and Federal Reserve have been working on this situation for two years now. And they’ve yet to solve anything: after two bailouts, significant debt write-downs, and numerous austerity measures, Greece remains bankrupt.
Now, if the Powers That Be cannot solve Greece’s problems… what makes anyone think that they can address larger, more dangerous issues such as Spain or Italy, etc?
Consider that the world’s central banks staged a coordinated intervention…and Italy’s 10 year is back yielding more than 7% less than two months later.

I don’t like to use the word ‘Hate’ but I really HATE .. H..A..T..E. the Euro, the Eurozone, the E.U…whatever .. Always have. Please Deutschland leave this failed crap, it brought nothing to Germany (bring back Deutsch Mark), always admired and respected the Swiss and the UK (they were far smarter, not to get involved) it brought nothing beneficial to any country, except to the weak broke ones .. Ugh! Most discussion about a potential breakup of the Eurozone assumes that Greece and other financially troubled countries would be the ones who ended up abandoning the common euro currency. Let’s embrace diversity and races of all people, shall we? The European Commission has withdrawn a video promoting EU enlargement after accusations that it was racist, the BBC reports.
The video, called ‘Growing Together’, shows a white woman dressed in a yellow jumpsuit (Bruce Lee style) being threatened in an abandoned warehouse by three ethnic minority men: a Chinese-looking man doing kung fu, an Indian-looking man wielding a sword and practicing kalaripayattu (a martial art that originated in south India), and a black man who menaces her in the style of capoeira (a Brazilian martial art).
But after gazing calmly at the trio, the woman multiples herself 12 times and surrounds the three men, following which the men drop their weapons and they all sit down cross-legged as the woman turns into the 12 stars on the EU flag. The video ends with the slogan “The more we are, the stronger we are”. *What do you think?
