Look Boys & Girls, on the left, we have a Legend, the name’s TINA TURNER, decades ago. (Never mind the copycat from last Sunday on the right).

This goes to show its all been done one time or another.

No one in contemporary “music” is presenting anything new and fresh whatsoever, no one!! The moral of the story, be unique, you can be talented and get inspired by heroes of the past, but don’t “copy and paste it”, be inspired and re-invent it in your own unique ways.

That’s what I call a smooth and successful charity event at The Den!! I had so much fun, watching all these great talents (incl. a phenomenal performance by my girl Phoenix, I’m so proud of her!!!), a superb production (congrats to Jelani & Amyia), fantastic jazz band with Omari and an awesome crew.

I hope the homeless kids got a little financial help out of this! — with Phoenix Kazree in San Francisco, CA.

Martin Lawrence Pairing Up w/ Kelsey Grammer For 'Odd Couple'-Like Comedy Series

Kelsey Grammer and Martin Lawrence are reportedly teaming up for a new comedy series with “an ‘Odd Couple’ feel.”

What do you think of the idea? Kelsey Grammer? maybe.. Martin Lawrence? not so much!!

Personally it sounds uncreative (as usual), unfunny, derivative and like typically weak modern comedy television. It will therefore be a huge hit. Typical reflection of todays TV society. I’m gonna pass, thank you very much. Nothing will ever match the brilliance of the original Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau version, not even the later TV series did. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Odd_Couple_(film)

Angus T Jones Two and a Half Men - Sleaziness of Two and a Half Men - Esquire

Oh Boy, another “Religious” New Born Christian!!! Angus has found Jesus after nearly 10 years, 10 seasons, 209 episodes, making $350.000 per episode, with a $2,5 million contract in the pocket and an additional $500.000 bonus at signing!!!! Now, where he’s finishing the last season, he finally is talking to God, and found Jesus at the same time. It’s so easy to run your mouth kid, I will buy his so called dedication to his ‘faith’ a lot more when he gives back or gives away every penny he ever made on that so called ‘filthy’ show!! If you gonna talk the talk, walk the walk boy!! Don’t worry, in a few years, when you’re a “has been” and become Danny Bonaduce and go on filthier shows like “Dancing with the..” or “Jungle, I’m a celebrity.. get me out of here”.. we’ll talk!

Vivienne Westwood: The Whole 20th Century Was a Mistake

Vivienne Westwood is fierce.” As described by the British Design Museum, “Vivienne Westwood personifies the potent and subversive originality of British fashion.

Her continual exploration and reinterpretation of history, combined with a tireless individualism, has cemented her reputation as the UK’s most culturally significant fashion designer. http://andytaylor.tv/2012/05/04/vivienne-westwood-20th-century-mistake/

Who knew? I certainly did not expect this (and so early, post revolution.. or still ongoing. Knowing there’s No sponsors, No money). In post-Revolution Tunisia, freedom of expression is a hotly debated topic. Designers at Fashion Week Tunis 2012 showcased collections inspired by the religious and political climate of their country. Salah Barka and Ahmed Talfit are two designers who presented provocative and crowd-pleasing creations. Their work reflects the diversity of opinion that exists in the new Tunisia. However it’s great to see a start, a beginning for creativity, arts and energy. Refreshing indeed!

Farewell, Dame Edna

Farewell, Dame Edna, All things must come to an end! I saw once, one of her shows in San Fransisco, it was hilarious and unforgettable. Dame Edna Everage, the self-proclaimed housewife/megastar, one of the most formidable comedy turns of the twentieth century, is hanging up her diamonté harlequin glasses, her mauve wig, and her size-eleven high heels.

The news was announced yesterday in London by the seventy-eight-year-old Barry Humphries, Dame Edna’s creator and impresario, who has been purveying her gleeful brand of vindictive triumph since he invented her in the early fifties, on the back of a touring theatre company’s bus in Australia. http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/culture/2012/03/farewell-dame-edna.html

(VIDEO) Phoenix Kazree: “My performance at Aerial Pole International 2012 earned me the award for “Best Show”. I’m a bit disappointed in this performance. Unfortunately, I had to omit 3 major tricks in order to feel safe. It was a bit difficult to stay in charge of my grip.

The tricks that I did perform, were not at my best ability. This performance was lacking in the technical and execution department. However, knowing the issue with the poles in advance, I decided that my goal would be to just stay connected emotionally. I did that much and am proud for that. Please forgive the many form breaks and lack of difficulty. I hope you enjoy” — in Bern, Switzerland.
